We are a Chicago-trained duo that also happens to be married. We most frequently perform as part of the Austin Improv Collective in Austin, TX with both McNichol & May and the Frank Mills (formerly Tight).
We strive to perform theatre-driven improvisation and sketch in our shows. Sometimes we wish we could see more bands, live theatre and wean ourselves of chips and salsa. |

Bob McNichol Is from Philadelphia, where people say things like "let's go downa shore" and "tarrible". He really doesn't have a strong opinion on Gino's vs. Pat's, but his face will light up if you mention The Kinks.
Bob was pounced upon by improv after attending some free shows at IO (formerly Improv Olympic) while living in Chicago, IL and not starting a band. He's a graduate of the IO Training Center, as well as Annoyance Theatre and has performed on stages in Austin and Chicago for the last 7 years. Projects in Chi-town included Concept Album (IO), Barbershop (IO) and TAG at Second City Unhinged, as well as being a member of IO house team Johnny Roast Beef.
In Austin, Bob is a proud member of The Frank Mills and Whirled News Tonight Austin.

Loves Austin, The Lone Star State and Luby's. A native of Sweeny, TX (Home of the fighting Bulldogs), she was appalled to find out that Chicago temperatures can sometimes be only single digits for more than 1 day. After 5 years of closed toe shoes, she hauled it back home and rebuilt her hard earned queso belly. A graudate of the Second City Conservatory - Chicago, Erika also trained at Improv Olympic (IO) and the Annoyance Theatre while in Chicago and performed regularly with former IO House Team Hall of Presidents, as a writer and player in the still running Late Night Late Show with Mark Luge and independent ensemble Bevy. She was also a resident member at ComedySportz Chicago and has performed in improv festivals around the country, including The Del Close Marathon in NY in 2003 & 2004, The Chicago Improv Festival, The Funny Women's Festival (NY) and Out of Bounds (Austin). Locally, Erika also performs with The Frank Mills and Whirled News Tonight, Austin. Influences
BBC's Spaced (best show ever), Chris Langham, Phil Hartman and BBC's The Office. |
